Lot's of lazy staff standing about chatting or on their phones, much like any other Tesco tbh. One in particular during the day, tall guy with glasses. He was in boose and I was getting beers for some friends but none on the shelf. I seen some on a cage and he promised to get them for me soon so I said I would do my other shopping first . I even left it out to the car and went back into the shop probably 20 minutes after he said that . On the way to boose aisle I seen him walking in the opposite direction on his phone grinning so I assumed he'd split the cage but when I got there it was untouched. I ended up doing it myself to get the products I wanted. An example of being fobbed off by a lazy member of Tesco staff. This was a while ago and every time I see him in the shop he's chatting to other colleagues or looking at his phone. As an ex Tesco employee I can confirm Tesco is rife with this type of worker going right to store manager level!
Just arrived northern ireland from Liverpool and first Irish person I meet is at this Tesco. She was at self survive at 8:40am on 15 Feb 2022. She was extremely friendly and chatting and made me feel very welcome. 5* for customer service. Also a good range of products and the shop was bright and spotless.
Was in the other day, asked a tall young man on the floor who had a long fringe for some help. Think his name was Kieran on the name tag, asked him for some help to show me where the baking stuff was located. I was completely dismissed and practically ignored, ended up having to repeat myself just to simply be pointed to where it was from another side of the store? Ended up asking another staff member, cannot remember her name but she was helpful, young man could learn some manners! Hope his parents are happy with him .
Too many staff urging me to self checkout staff standing around while only two staffed check outs on, Whatever happened to customer care .
Good selection of produce although somethings are sparse but I suppose that's not really tescos fault as I'm sure they are doing their best, downside self checkouts tend to be slow more so on less busy periods 5+ staff walked past my checkout while waiting for an age approval,much as I like the convenience of self service it ends up being impeded by slow response from customer service staff. As Tesco would prefer to have more customers using self service checkouts it would make more sense to staff these appropriately,to reinforce my criticism maybe Tesco's should check the in-store CCTV and the onboard cameras attached to every single self service checkouts to find why it's going wrong and maybe come up with some sort of new initiative to fix such problems.
2 tills on Sunday afternoon at start of month. 4 trolleys queued at each. Queues at self service, which kept glitching. Awful.
Great shop. Wide variety of products. Seasonal produce always in-store. Large car park. Can be busy at times.
Was disappointed when visiting your cafe as there was no gluten free options. I would like to see a choice for gluten free people in the near future. Overall it is a nice cafe.
